Buyer intent
Last updated
Buyer intent is the degree to which a prospect is actively looking to make a purchase, inferred from their behavior and circumstances. It’s the difference between someone who merely fits your ideal customer profile and someone who fits it and is ready to act now.
Why it matters: Targeting by intent, not just by firmographics, is what separates timely outreach from spam. The same message lands very differently depending on whether the buyer is in-market that week.
